CRLS Family Connections runs the election for parent/caregiver positions on the school council which are for a two-year term.

School Council Composition:
Co-chaired by principal and 1 parent/ guardian/caregiver
4-6 parent/guardian/caregiver representatives
4-6 school staff representatives
2 student representatives for upper schools and high school
2-3 community representatives
The School Council is a representative advisory group of parents, guardians, and caregivers, students, community members, and school staff members that collaborates in advising the principal in planning for and implementing goals and practices that enhance the achievement of all students. Members work together to support the implementation of the School Improvement Plan (SIP), existing and new programs, and family engagement.
Cambridge Families of Color Coalition launches a pilot Caregiver Peer Mentorship Program in partnership with CRLS Family Connection.
Volunteer mentors provide friendly, informal, and non-judgmental support to 9th grade caregivers navigating the high school.

ParentSquare (https://www.parentsquare.com/signin)- phone app or website to receive notices from Cambridge Public Schools and for parents to communicate with school staff. It can translate communications into the parent's preferred language. Sign up with the email you use to register your students under "Register" at https://www.parentsquare.com/signin
Google Classroom - Assignments will be posted here. For caregivers of students with IEPs who need to help their student stay on track with schoolwork. It is most useful to login with your student's login and password.
We are a parent/caregiver-led group dedicated to helping Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS) parents/caregivers connect and navigate the school system in order to increase student achievement and wellbeing, and promote a positive learning environment where all CRLS students and families feel welcomed, valued, safe, and engaged in a mutually caring community.
